Roll setup guide

Set Up Your Roll for the Way You Work

Choose the kraft paper core inside the roll and the edge that should dispense first. These settings do not change your finished label size.

Core size

Choose Your Core Size

All sizes use a sturdy kraft paper tube. The measurement is the inner diameter—not the label dimensions.

Three gloss vinyl label rolls showing small, medium, and large kraft paper core diameters

25.4 mm Core: Compact for hand application and limited storage.
50.8 mm Core: A balanced option for everyday handling.
Industry-standard default 76.2 mm Core: More stable with smoother unwinding for larger label quantities.

Unwind direction

Choose the Leading Edge

Select which edge of the printed label comes off the roll first.

For hand application, unwind direction is usually a preference. For a dispenser or labeling machine, match the equipment feed direction.

Your artwork is scaled proportionally within the selected 1.5-inch, 2-inch, 2.5-inch, 3-inch, 3.5-inch, 4-inch, or 5-inch format. The exact width and height depend on the artwork shape shown in the digital proof.

Do not assume compatibility. Confirm the core size, unwind direction, roll diameter, label gap, and every other equipment requirement with us before ordering.

How should the labels be applied and cared for?
