Helpful Details Before You Order

Design Tips

  1. Prepare artwork at 300 DPI at the final print size.
  2. Use CMYK color mode when possible. Screen color can differ slightly from printed color.
  3. Keep small text, fine lines, borders and narrow cut areas thick enough to print and apply cleanly.
  4. Review spelling, scale, color, border and cut shape carefully on the digital proof.

Application planning

A QR sticker is a printed interface.

Keep the code high-contrast, undistorted and surrounded by a clear quiet zone. Verify the destination URL, then scan the printed sample at the expected distance, angle and lighting before approving production.

Complete sticker construction

Five layers. One complete sticker system.

A sticker works as one construction. Review each layer’s job, then confirm the exact material codes and test the finished build on the real surface.

Layers are separated for clarity and are not shown to scale. In production they work as one finished construction.
01
FacestockDimensionally stable opaque white synthetic film with a smooth, high-contrast print surface.
Why this choice

QR geometry and contrast must survive printing and application; an opaque stable face reduces distortion and interference from the mounting surface.

02
AdhesiveAcrylic adhesive candidate selected for the named mounting surface and required service period.
Why this choice

Functional information must remain where expected, but surface energy, curves and removal requirements still determine the adhesive.

03
InkHigh-contrast CMYK or black print with defined white underbase, quiet zones and minimum feature control.
Why this choice

Legibility and scanning depend on contrast and feature accuracy rather than decorative color alone.

04
ProtectionLow-glare, rub-resistant matte protection candidate.
Why this choice

Gloss glare can reduce scanning reliability under some lighting, while matte protection preserves critical printed features during handling.

05
Liner & applicationFlat, dimensionally stable release liner that supports accurate die cutting and aligned placement.
Why this choice

A flat liner protects code geometry before application and helps avoid skew, stretching or tight-curve distortion.

Engineering boundary: these are use-case-specific starting directions, not finished supplier specifications or unconditional performance claims. Confirm the exact facestock, adhesive, ink, protection and liner codes, then validate the finished construction on the real surface when the application is unfamiliar or demanding.

Why Inkelligent

A clearer path from artwork to application.

Custom stickers are easier to order when the artwork, material direction and production approval are handled as one connected process.

Proof before production

Review the artwork, scale, cut shape and visible details on a digital proof before the order moves into production.

Practical guidance

Use the surface, shape, exposure and service period to identify a sensible starting construction instead of relying on one material name.

Clear testing boundaries

When a surface or condition is unfamiliar, we identify what still needs confirmation rather than presenting an unconditional performance promise.

Before you approve

Useful checks, without the guesswork.

Use these answers to identify what should be confirmed in the proof or a physical sample.

Will this stick to every surface?

No adhesive is universal. Cleanliness, coating, texture, surface energy, curvature and dwell time can change the result. Test the exact surface when any of these are unknown.

What does gloss versus matte change?

Finish changes appearance, glare and surface feel. It may also influence scuff visibility and handling, so choose in the context of the artwork, lighting and use conditions.

How should I validate a QR sticker?

Confirm the live destination, print contrast, quiet zone and final code size. Scan a printed proof on common target devices at the expected distance, angle and lighting.

When should I request extra guidance?

Ask before production when the surface is unknown, textured, coated, tightly curved, exposed to chemicals, safety-critical or expected to remove cleanly after a long dwell.

Need a different starting point?

Match the use conditions first—or compare every product.

Scans instantly. Clean print and sticks well.

I bought these for my wife's bakery booth after we got tired of answering the same allergy and ingredient questions over and over. Now customers just scan the sticker on the display and everything pulls right up. It makes the table look more polished too. Small thing, big help.

M
Megan Holloway

Scanned instantly. Clean print and strong adhesive.

E
Elena Whitmore

Very impressed with how crisp the codes came out. I was a little worried that smaller stickers might be harder for phones to read, but even older phones in our office picked them up without any fuss. The backing peeled off cleanly too, which sounds minor, but it saved time when we had a lot to apply.

C
Caleb Morton

What I liked most was consistency. Sometimes with printed QR labels you get a few that are too dark or too fuzzy around the edges, but this batch was even all the way through. I tested several at random before using them on packaging, and each one scanned quickly from different distances. Backing peeled off easily too, which sounds minor until you're applying a lot of them.

Brandon Hughes

We put these QR code stickers on our product boxes so customers can pull up care instructions. The codes read on the first try with both iPhone and Android, which was my main concern. Adhesive is solid without peeling at the corners.

P
Paige Donnelly

Nice crisp stickers, no smudging at all.

M
Miles Donnelly

Fast shipping and the QR printed dark enough to scan under dim light. That mattered for our restaurant tables.

J
Jason Reed

Pretty decent quality. One sheet had a slight bend from shipping, but the stickers themselves worked fine and every code I tested opened the right link.

M
Monica Reeves

I ordered QR code stickers linking to my salon booking page. They arrived neatly packed, and every sticker I tested opened the correct link instantly. Much easier than telling clients to type in a long web address.

C
Caleb Foster

Exactly what I needed for inventory bins.

L
Logan Pierce

What I liked most was consistency. I tested a bunch from different parts of the sheet because I didn't want surprises after labeling product boxes, and every one scanned the same. The cut was even, the adhesive held on coated packaging, and the print didn't look fuzzy at all. Would reorder for the next production run.

Travis McKenna

I ordered these QR code stickers for a weekend pop-up because I wanted people to get to our menu and Instagram without handling paper flyers. The codes were sharp, easy to scan from a few feet away, and every sticker in the pack worked the same, which honestly surprised me. I put some on our display signs, takeout boxes, and even the card reader stand. They peeled cleanly from the backing and stuck well without curling at the edges. Simple product, but it made setup smoother and looked more professional than I expected.

S
Sabrina Doyle

The quality is solid overall. We used them for a community event so people could pull up the registration form without standing in line, and it definitely sped things up.

L
Lauren Hayes

Perfect for linking to our restaurant menu. Much better looking than the ones I tried printing myself.

D
Derek Sullivan

These were for a family reunion table setup with a QR code to the shared photo album. It was a last-minute idea, but the stickers looked neat and everyone figured them out immediately. No smudging, no weird misprints, and they peeled cleanly from the backing. I still have extras and will probably use them for holiday events too.

E
Ethan Calloway

These were for labeling storage bins in our office with links to inventory sheets. Simple idea, but it saved us a lot of time. The sticker material feels sturdy and the QR image is sharp enough that even the smaller labels still scan without hunting for the angle.

D
Dylan Mercer

Used these on product boxes for my small shop and they worked exactly how I hoped. The codes read on the first try even under indoor lighting.

R
Renee Callahan

These ended up being more useful than I expected. I run a small craft business and put one on each thank-you card that leads to care instructions and my social pages. It saves space and looks cleaner than cramming everything into tiny print. I also appreciate that the sticker surface doesn't smudge easily.

K
Keith Bradshaw

Applied easily to cardboard mailers.

C
Chloe Marshall

Love them. Simple, useful, professional-looking.

T
Tessa Caldwell

Simple, useful, and they work.

N
Natalie Brooks

I ordered these for product packaging so customers could get to our care instructions page without typing a long URL. The black print came out crisp and the adhesive has held up on cardboard mailers and plastic sleeves so far. A couple of customers mentioned how convenient it was, which is basically the whole reason I bought them.

E
Evan Mitchell

Scans fast, sticks well.

O
Olivia Turner

Exactly what I needed for event check-in.

T
Tyler Bennett

These were a smart buy. I stuck a few on storage bins in my workshop that link to inventory sheets, and it actually made organizing things easier than I expected.

J
Jenna Wallace

I put one on a sign at a craft fair linking to my payment page. People scanned it all day and I didn't have to keep explaining where to go. Super handy little stickers.

S
Sean Parker

I was a bit worried the finish might create glare and make scanning annoying, but that hasn't been an issue. We placed them on appointment reminder cards and every sample we tested opened the correct page right away.

S
Sophie Bennett

Nice print quality and strong adhesive. I put one on a welcome sign in our office lobby that links to the guest Wi-Fi info, and it has been working perfectly.

N
Nicole Stanton

Very handy. I used them for sharing Wi-Fi info with guests and now I don't have to repeat the password all night.

G
Gavin Pierce

I put one on the back of my market booth sign so customers could pull up my online catalog. It survived a breezy weekend outdoors better than expected. Not waterproof forever I'm sure, but for short-term use it held up well and never bubbled.

T
Travis Coleman

Bought these for our office equipment tags so staff could scan and open the reporting form instead of emailing IT. Setup on our side was easy, but the stickers themselves are the part I was unsure about. Happy to say they look professional and haven't started peeling at the corners even in a busy shared workspace.

B
Brandon Pierce

Worked great on wedding welcome bags. We linked the code to the weekend schedule and local recommendations, and guests actually used it. The stickers arrived neatly packed, nothing bent, and applying them was easy because they lifted off the sheet without tearing.
